Hairstylist Peter Butler’s dedication to his craft and endlessly creative attitude has come to define his career and collaborations with the industry’s best. His signature looks have graces the pages of major fashion magazines from Harper’s Bazaar, W, Document, Vanity Fair and Vogue.

Having worked in leading salons in Chicago, Los Angeles for over a dozen years , Peter set off for the City of Lights. Inspired by the world of fashion and wanting to refine his technique, he spent years in Paris assisting industry icons and collaborating with major fashion photographers and designers. Peter then returned to the US where his sophisticated technique, professionalism and refreshing attitude were quickly embraced by the fashion industry.

In demand on both sides of the camera he has worked with TV shows such as the Learning Channels “Cover-Shot”; Also appearing numerous times on MTV’s “Fashionably Loud” and “Mission Makeover”; He spent season 8+9 on “Project Runway” as the Garnier Fructis spokesperson, setting looks for the designers “Garnier Challenge”; Traveling all 7 Continents doing hair, Peter has also been a contributing editor for Sports illustrated Swimsuit. Producing 11 consecutive Covers. 

Peter’s wide range of personal experiences and inspiration go from Cross country motorcycle trips to the California surf scene to the Glamour of Paris haute couture. Some of Butlers’ celebrity clients include Maya Hawke , Claire Danes, Isabella Rossellini, Carrie Coon, Suki Waterhouse, Laura Dern, Ella Beatty and Rebel Wilson .
